Care Guide
If you use your foil mast in salt water you must remove the mast from the fuselage after every use and give the mast, the bolt holes, and the bolts a fresh water rinse. This will prevent galvanic corrosion from damaging your foil mast. If you do not remove the foil mast from the fuselage and thoroughly rinse everything with fresh water, galvanic corrosion will occur. Please see here for more information on galvanic corrosion: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galvanic_corrosion
We do not provide warranty support for masts that experience galvanic corrosion.

Rinse the board plate with fresh water after use and take the mast off your board once a week to rinse the board plate and the bolts with fresh water. This will prevent galvanic corrosion.
When foiling, do not run aground on sand, reef, or rocks. This will damage the foil mast’s connection system.
Use the mast sleeve whenever transporting the mast. This will protect the finish from scratches or dings while in transit.
Do not use stripped screws to secure your foil mast to the fuselage or to the board.
