Favorite Sailing Spot: The Wall in the Gorge or Punta San Carlos Baja, Mex. The Wall has huge smooth swell when its blasting 4.0 and you can hit push loops and back loops both directions and its warm, doesn’t get much better than that. For wavesailing I’ve had a few days of mile long logo high rides in San Carlos in September with boardshorts, bottom turning till your arms give out.
Favorite Rig Setup: 4.4 Severne Freek with 370 Sumo and 101 L Starboard Flare. The best freestyle setup.

Favorite Setup: 4.2 Sailworks Revo rigged on the Nolimitz SUMO and my Flare 91 freestyle board.
Dream Session: Good wind for 4.2, on the water with only a few friends, some good waves for jumping and a long period creating flat water between the waves.

Favorite Sailing Spot: This is a tough one between Hookipa and San Carlos- I get a big rush at Hookipa when the waves are big and powerful, I have more fun playing at Punta San Carlos cause the waves are soft and friendly….. I would have to say a mix of the two, can we figure out how to get that organized????
Dream Session: 7am Morning moto session at the track with the boys, late breakfast at 11, Hookipa afternoon 1-3 logo high on 5.0, then up to the Bike Park Maui for some sunset whips with my boy!

Favorite Sailing Spot: Wherever the waves show the most promise for good rides. Mostly the Cape Sebastian and the Rogue jetty lately.
Biggest pet peeve about windsurfing: When masts break. It’s such a huge momentum killer for a sesh. You go from ruling the planet to taking your place in the food chain in a split second. And that’s the main reason I switched to NoLimitz back in 1992.

Favorite Rig Setup: 4.2 Simmer Blacktip with 370 NoLimitz mast and 63l Simmer custom, either for float and ride or powered side shore jumping
Dream Session: Logo high down the line, starboard or port, with smooth turquoise waves onto a sandy beach (no rocks!), and in a 3mm Summer suit or boardies with the sun shining and a few friends. Sailing until I can barely walk, then having some food already prepared for me and a campfire on the beach. Mmmmmmm….
